Privacy notice
Updated October 3, 2026
This notice covers the Aspen plugin operated by Aspen Privé in Aspen, Colorado. It is independent of the City of Aspen. It covers the plugin tools and trip view; websites you open from the plugin have separate privacy practices.
Information received
ChatGPT sends the arguments needed for a selected tool: dates, party and child counts, ski ability counts, an arrival-airport choice, a lodging category, interests, or an audience category for local information. Our tools do not request your name, email, phone, exact lodging address, precise location, payment details, health information or identity documents. Do not include those details in a plugin request.
Use and recipients
We use these arguments to produce your requested plan, mountain comparison, local brief or unsent request draft. The tool runs on Render, our hosting provider, and returns its answer to OpenAI for your ChatGPT conversation. Plugin requests do not create a customer record, sales lead, reservation or subscription. We do not use them for advertising or to train an Aspen Privé model.
The plugin has no access to Aspen Privé’s private client database. Its embedded trip view makes no external network requests and uses no cookies, local storage or analytics identifiers. Following an external source or contact link opens that website; it does not automatically send the trip or draft to the website.
Retention
Tool arguments and generated results are processed in memory for the request and are not written to an Aspen Privé database or application log. The trip view holds the displayed result for the life of the view. ChatGPT may retain your conversation separately under OpenAI’s policies and your account settings.
Our operational log contains only tool name, outcome and duration, without request arguments or user identifiers. Render’s dashboard log retention is 7–30 days depending on the workspace plan. This plugin does not export those logs for longer-term storage. Render also handles connection information, including IP addresses and HTTP metadata, for hosting and security under its own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can stop invoking Aspen or disconnect it in ChatGPT. Manage or delete the ChatGPT conversation through OpenAI’s data controls. For questions or a request to access, correct or delete information held by Aspen Privé, contact paul@aspenprive.com. We cannot look up a plugin request by your identity because the plugin does not maintain an identity-linked request history.
If you choose to contact Aspen Privé, review and submit the separate website form yourself. That form creates an enquiry in Aspen Privé’s existing HQ system hosted on Render with Supabase storage; it is outside the plugin’s transient processing. The plugin does not submit it for you.
